DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 700 PM PST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Ramon was located near latitude 14.8 North, longitude 122.7 West. Ramon is drifting toward the west near 1 mph (2 km/h) and a slow westward to west-northwestward motion is expected to begin tomorrow. Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is forecast to begin shortly and Ramon is likely to degenerate into a remnant low in a day or two.
